A crisp sunny autumn day in the middle of October is the backdrop for the wedding portraits of Hans and Åsa we did at Råda säteri. A very nice location 15 minutes from Gothenburg, Sweden. There are many options if you like water, trees and a relaxed rural area. It´s often possible to photograph there even if the wedding is somewhere else. When doing wedding portraits I like to mix up pictures that are more traditional with the couple looking into the camera, with other photos that speaks more of the mood of the day and the place, with the couple more in the distance.
I find it interesting that photos that incorporates a lot of the surrounding with the couple quite small, still can be very intimate and transmit the connection between the couple.
If I prefer sunny or cloudy days to photograph? Or color or black-and white? Sorry, have no set answer on that. I love them all.. just different options, and different expressions.
Everything is workable.
